Hi guys.
Could not wait to blog tonight because when I got home from my workout the MAC foundation that I ordered was in my mailbox! I honestly bought this foundation because of this video by Sally Jo where she talk about MAC products. Check it out!
So I wanted to do this first impression after my workout, that’s why I am wearing a makeup shirt! haha, don’t judge!
I did clean my face with the Garnier Micellar water, and for reference I have really dry skin on my forehead and nose. I actually have a dry T-Zone, which may sound really weird.. But on my cheeks I have normal skin. Color reference: in the winter I am a (very pale) NC15 but now I am NC20. I don’t usually get really tan, so this works for me.

I always use the MAC prep+prime natural radiance primer in radiant yellow. I will test the foundation with both the beauty blender and the ZOEVA 104 buffing brush to check if there are any differences.

my clean face!

This is after I applied primer and foundation to the left side of my face.

Then I used the beauty blender on the other side and I did not notice any difference. This foundation leaves your skin really dewy and especially with the primer. I need this glow because of my dry and dull skin, but if you have oily skin I don’t think you will like this.

Finished face, and I must say that i LOVE this foundation. I used the MAC pro longwear concealer in NC15 and set my undereyes with E.l.f HD undereye setting powder. Then I set my face with the NYC smooth skin translucent powder. My contour and blush was so easy to apply. I used the Anastasia countour kit in light and E.l.f baked blush in peachy cheeky with my favourite highlighter: Mary Lou-manizer from thebalm.
I hope you liked this review and I will post the haul and swatches with lip products this weekend.
Love, Kristine
