Outside of my comfort zone!

Just wanted to share my thoughts right now. I just tried to find out which colours I would order from makeupgeek and inglot for my Z palette and I realized; I ALWAYS LOOK FOR THE SAME COLOURS! Seriously Kristine, how many brown eyeshadows do you need?! Anyone who recognizes the problem? hahah! So I went outside my comfort zone and ordered:

• Neptune from Makeupgeek

• Mermaid from Makeupgeek

• Burlesque from Makeupgeek

• Eye Shadow 452 from Inglot

• Eye Shadow 63 from Inglot

• Eye Shadow 07 from Inglot

• Eye Shadow 151 from Inglot

I’m travelling in two weeks, so I hope that I just need to bring my Z palette to Greece! I hope I will love these colours when they arrive, because I have never tried Inglot shadows before.. have you tried them? and do you like them?

Baking for my lovely swedish people

Hi guys. I do not have a makeup related post tonight, but I just wanted to show you my brownies. Baking because my lovely swedish colleagues! If you live in Oslo, Norway you know how many lovely swedish people that live here. At my work we have so many! I am going to a dinner with them tomorrow and decided to bake my mom’s AMAZING and unhealthy brownies!

Recipe:

• 6 eggs
• 8 dl sugar
• 3 tea spoons with vanilla sugar
• 8-10 tablespoons with cocoa
• 4,5 dl with flour
• 300g of melted butter

How to make:

Mix the eggs and sugar. Add vanilla sugar, cocoa and flour. When you have mixed this add the butter and make the batter even. Cook in the second lowest shelf in the oven in 25-30 minutes on 180 ºC.

The happiness!

Hi guys.

Been at my parents house this weekend, so I did not have time to blog. But when I opened the mail today – happiness!

So I ordered this of ebay, because colourpop don’t ship to Norway… I hope they ship internationally soon, cause this was expensive.. On colourpop they sell the Kathleenlights quad for 20 $ (159 NOK) which is reasonable I think.. the cheapest one I found on ebay that ships to Norway was 44.85 $ (356 NOK) and I also paid 13.70 $ (109 NOK) in shipping …

I think Norway is so expensive to ship to because we are not part of the EU. That sucks when you are a makeup addict.. But you know the feeling when you want something so much that you NEED it anyways? that is how I felt about this palette. I needed it in my life, so I bought it!

I will review and swatch this later for those of you who are interested. 🙂

REN skincare set first impression/review!

So I got a comment on my skincare haul if I could do a review on the REN skincare set that I got. OH COURSE! I can not find the set that I bought on the site which ships worldwide, but I will link every single product for you guys!

ROSA CENTIFOLIA HOT CLOTH CLEANSER 

Includes complimentary stay-warm cloth. A rich two-phase cleanser that purifies, decongests, gently exfoliates and removes all make-up. It leaves skin refreshed, radiant, smoothed and replenished without dryness or tightness.

Apply to dry skin and gently massage over the face, neck and closed eyes to remove dirt, make up and loosen dead skin cells. Rinse hot cloth in warm water and place over face to open pores; then, lightly polish off the cleanser to reveal purified, refreshed skin. Rinse face with cool water to close pores.

My experience:

I applied it to my skin after removing my makeup with a makeup wipe. My skin looked and felt clean. Then I rinsed the cloth in warm water and held it over my face to open the pores. After this I gently scrubbed my face with the cloth and rinsed the cleanser of with cold water. The cleanser removed more makeup than I thought it would. My face feels totally clean afterwards and I usually have a problem with my skin feeling dry after cleanser. After I used this it does not feel dry. I really love it!

GLYCOLACTIC RADIANCE RENEWAL MASK LIMITED EDITION

A cult-favourite peel mask with a potent active complex that renews and refines skin.  It dramatically improves skin tone and radiance while minimising pore size, reducing congestion and smoothing the appearance of fine lines.

My experience:

I was a little bit unsure to try this because I sometimes have sensitive skin. But if I don’t try I will not know If this works for me. So I took a chance. This is supposed to be a exfoliating mask, and I have to say, I did nothing for my skin. My skin does not feel any different than it did before I used it. Keep in mind that I have dry and acne-prone skin. I usually use sugar scrubs to exfoliate and this gel-type exfoliater usually don’t work for me. But I think it might be better for oily skin, cause it feels like it cleans your pores really good. Would I buy this again? No, this is not for my skin.

My experience:

This is a GREAT mosturiser for DRY skin. For oily skin, I would not recommend this. Even though it says it is for all skin types. I have waited 15 minutes for this to absorb into my skin now (maybe I put on too much) and it is almost there. My skin still feels a little bit tacky but not greasy. It is a thick cream so a little goes a long way! But my dry patches on my nose and forhead are definitly moisturised. I actually love this product and I would buy this again!

NEW SKINCARE! And my new purse :)

Hi guys. Trying to get off the shopping binge I have been on lately! I’m going to Greece soon and I need to bring a lot of money! (cause the ATM’s in Greece are empty now). But here are a couple of new purchases! (I need to stay away from SALE signs.) 

I bought this BEAUTIFUL orange/red Calvin Klein bag on sale. Oh my god, I love it! Could not resist!I also bought some new skincare products! You know when you run out of skincare, you run out of ALL the products you use at the same time. So from REN (clean skincare) I ordered a set, because I am travelling soon. The set contains a moisturizer, cleanser, a night cream and a radiance renewal mask. I have never tried REN before so I will update you when I have used it a bit.

The other mask I bought from a norwegian site and it is the brand RÅ Organic Skincare. I don’t know if they ship outside of Norway. But they have the most amazing shea mask that I use every night, so when I saw this brand on sale I had to get another of their masks. I bought SEVJE (sap) and it is a deep cleansing mask.  They are a organic brand and they are expensive so I always buy their stuff on sale.
